Cathy Ward

Cathy is the Executive Director of The Irish Outreach Center in San Diego,CA.
Cathy came to the United States in 1985, where she worked in hospitality services, and eventually transition into facilities management and administration in the construction industry. Cathy was one of the founding members of Na Fianna Ladies GAA Club, and remains an active supporter of the local GAA scene in Southern California.
Cathy joined the staff at The Irish Outreach Center in 2017 and became the executive director in 2019. As director, Cathy brings a solid knowledge of the organization and its programming, as well as an intimate knowledge of the "local Irish scene." She is well respected for her positive hands-on approach, great organization skills, outgoing personality and support of the Irish community San Diego.
Cathy is a County Wicklow native; she currently resides in San Diego with her husband Mick and two children, Aisling and Paddy Óg.
