History
The Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers (CIIC) was established in 1996 to promote the welfare of Irish immigrants in the United States, and serve as the national organization representing centers across the country that were committed to providing support to Irish immigrants.
From its beginning, the Coalition strove to be a strong, cohesive and representative voice for the needs of its member centers, and in turn the greater community of Irish immigrants in the US by prioritizing the sharing of information and the creation of best practices as a way to support and assist its member centers in their direct service work.
In over two decades, the Coalition has grown from an ad hoc group of like minded people, into an organization that supports a regionally diverse membership, is the point of contact for current, accurate and reliable information pertinent to the Irish community and holds a place of respect within the greater Global Irish Network.
