The Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers strives to be a strong and cohesive voice for the needs of Irish Immigrants and a strong advocate for fair and just immigration legislation. We estimate that there are 50,000 undocumented Irish immigrants currently living in the USA. We are committed to working with other national immigrant advocacy groups to see that the contributions of immigrants to the USA are acknowledged and recognized and to achieve fair and just immigration reform that will allow immigrants to regularize their status.
CIIC member centers are actively involved on a local level, mobilizing immigrants to support national campaigns including the Irish Lobby for Immigration Reform, the Justice for Immigrants Campaign and CIRNOW. Irish Centers advocate on behalf of immigrants with local city and state legislatures to fight for fair and just treatment of all immigrants regardless of their immigration status.
