Meet Our New Executive Director: Cassie Farrelly

The Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers (CIIC) is proud to welcome Cassie Farrelly as our new Executive Director.
Cassie brings to CIIC more than 25 years of dynamic leadership experience across public service, nonprofit, and higher education sectors. A native of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, Cassie’s career reflects a deep commitment to community-building, advocacy, and public engagement.
Her leadership journey has included key roles at organizations such as WITF Public Media Station, Penn State University College of Medicine, the British Consulate General in New York, and the New York City Department of Education. Notably, she also served as the Administrative Director of the Institute for Irish Studies at Fordham University, where she deepened her connection to Irish-American heritage and immigrant communities.
Cassie is a +More Perfect Union Fellow for community impact and a Presidential Leadership Scholar—two distinctions that speak to her values-driven approach to strategic leadership. Her project work in these roles focused on increasing access to financial services for unbanked households, reflecting her lifelong passion for equity and empowerment.
As CIIC launches a bold new national campaign to protect and inform Irish immigrants across the U.S., Cassie steps into leadership at a pivotal time. Her strategic insight, collaborative style, and heart for service make her the right leader to guide CIIC into this next chapter—one defined by visibility, cohesion, and impact.
Please join us in warmly welcoming Cassie Farrelly to CIIC. We look forward to the clarity and strength she brings to our mission and to the communities we serve across the country.
