March 6, 2018—The Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers (CIIC) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Aileen Leonard Dibra as the organization’s new Executive Director. Aileen previously served as CIIC’s National Coordinator.

“We are very pleased to announce this appointment,” stated Celine Kennelly, CIIC Board President. “Aileen has played a key role in recent years, supporting the development of CIIC’s programming, as well as branding the Coalition as source of current and accurate information for the Irish Diaspora in the United States and abroad. This is an exciting time for the organization as the scope and impact of the Coalition expands. On behalf of the CIIC Board, we are delighted that Aileen will be continuing with us on this journey.”

Aileen holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Leadership from Fordham University, as well as an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership.

“I am pleased to be taking on this new role with the Coalition, and continuing to build and expand upon our great accomplishments of the past 6 years,” says Aileen. “I am thankful to the CIIC Board of Directors for this opportunity, as well as for their ongoing support and commitment to the Coalition. These are exciting times for the organization, and I am glad to play a leadership role.”
